Technology

These capabilities are built by Release.art and delivered through Orlovs Consulting engagements.

Open source

We publish the general-purpose parts of our work as open-source Python packages. Status and licence are stated for each; anything below 1.0 may change. All source is on GitHub.

Regulatory data

  • fca-api: async Python client for the FCA’s Financial Services Register API.
    Beta (2.x) · MPL-2.0 · GitHub · PyPI · Docs
  • fca-mcp: MCP server exposing the Financial Services Register to AI clients as read-only tools.
    Pre-1.0 · MIT · GitHub · PyPI
  • ch-api: async Python client for the Companies House API, with typed models and automatic pagination.
    Stable (2.x) · MIT · GitHub · PyPI · Docs
  • ch-mcp: MCP server exposing the Companies House register as read-only tools (published as companies-house-mcp).

Documents and print

  • texmodel: typed, declarative models for LaTeX. Declare a document family once in Python; get deterministic .sty output, a JSON Schema, and drift checks.
    Alpha · MIT · GitHub · PyPI
  • texpkg: TeX packages published as Python wheels. One wheel carries a typed texmodel API and the TeX it compiles against, at one version.
    Pre-1.0 · MIT · GitHub · PyPI
  • proofpress: print-pipeline pieces extracted from production use. proof-pdf holds print PDFs to PDF/X-4 and PDF/A; LuaLaTeX Docker images provide the toolchain.
    Pre-1.0 · Apache-2.0 · GitHub · PyPI (proof-pdf)

Engineering tooling

  • tf-project: Terraform and OpenTofu wrapper for multi-environment projects, with named slots, 1Password secret injection, and apply-safety guards.
    Pre-1.0 · MIT · GitHub · PyPI
  • pydantic-prism: one canonical Pydantic model, many scoped projections (API, storage, audit, LLM), with PII classification and a relationship graph that survives projection.
    Pre-1.0 · MIT · GitHub · PyPI

Open source in use

texmodel, texpkg, and proofpress came out of an applied project producing printed educational flashcards, where every card had to be typeset reproducibly and verified before going to press.
